Prior to using hibernation mode, you need to create a hibernation file or a hibernation partition on the hard drive. This package provides the hibernation utility program which creates the hibernation file or the hibernation partition.
The following models are supported:
- ThinkPad 390E, 390X
The following Operating Systems are supported:
- PC-DOS 7.0 (with Windows 3.11 installed)
- PC-DOS 2000 (with Windows 3.11 installed)
- Windows 95
- Windows 98
- Windows NT 4.0 with 16 bit FAT file system
Limitations:
- Hibernation function does not work under OS/2.
- Hibernation function does not work when OS/2 Boot Manager is installed.
- Hibernation function does not work under Windows NT 4.0 with NTFS file system.
