This package provides the HP Proximity Sensor Utility for supported notebook models and operating systems. The HP Proximity Sensor Utility lets you set your keyboard backlight to turn on or off based on your presence in front of the notebook. The utility also enables users to set a delay time for the keyboard backlight. The HP Proximity Sensor Utility is accessed from the Start menu.
