hey i was just wondering.. is there a way i can change the hot key for the web browser to pull of Mozilla firefox instead of enternet explorer?
To Jen,
If you haven’t already figured this out.
Start > All Programs > Launch Manager
Here you should see an acer program window open and you can change the button configuration. The one that looks like the planet Saturn matching the hotkey is the one you want to modify.
Click “Add”, select file navigate to the Mozilla folder found in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox” and select the firefox.exe, or just type this into the text box “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe”(without quotes). Click OK to get out and viola you should be set.
aspire 6930 dirver for download needed
tried to use the cystal eye webcam and it gave me an .exe error and said that i should try to reinstall it. i uninstalled it and now i’m at a dead end. how do i reinstall it?
Using this laptop since 2 years. Initially Windows XP was installed. Worked without any problem. Its Dolby Headphone feature was absolutely great. But when I installed Vista, and Now Windows 7 ,The Dolby feature has been a waste. I downloaded realtek audio driver for the ASPIRE 6930 from ACER site. But it seems something is missing in the drivers of VISTA & 7.
They do not Deliver the same Dolby Theater sound as XP.
May be the audio hardware (DOLBY) was meant for XP (and not later versions of windows).
