The 2kg ThinkPad T43 is powered by the latest Pentium M processor with a 533MHz frontside bus, while the accompanying 915 chipset handles up to 2GB of DDR2 memory and provides support for forthcoming ExpressCard (PCI Express) options. Hard disk capacity tops out at 80GB, and you’ll have a choice of 802.11a/b/g or 802.11b/g wireless network connections. For the first time, a T series model will be available with integrated graphics — a testament to the efficacy of Intel’s new Graphics Media Accelerator 900 module. However, power users will still be able to specify discrete graphics options in the shape of ATI’s Radeon X300 or Mobility FireGL V3200.
