This BIOS Update Utility updates the BIOS (system program including the Embedded Controller (EC) program) stored in the ThinkPad system to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
Supported ThinkPad systems:
- T60, T60p
Supported Operating Systems:
- Windows 7 32-bit
- Windows 7 64-bit (*1)(*2)
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Windows Vista 64-bit (*1)(*2)
- Windows XP (Home Edition and Professional)
- Windows 2000
If you have a ThinkPad T60 Wide screen model, you will need to download the T60 Wide screen version of the BIOS.
Notes:
- *1: Windows Vista and 7 64-bit support Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors only.
- *2: If Windows Vista or 7 64-bit is already installed on your system, then you must use the bootable CD ISO format of this BIOS update.
