The BIOS Update updates the system BIOS program stored in the ThinkPad system to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
This release supports the following ThinkPad systems:
- i Series 1200 Machine type 1161 (Models: 21x, 23x, 25x, 26x, 45N, 65N, RR1, RR2, RR3, RR4, RR5, RR6, RR7, RR8, WPM)
- i Series 1300 Machine type 1171 (Models: 310, 320, 330, 337, 33F, 340, 350, 370, 377, 37F, NMU, RRA, RR6, RR7, RR8, RR9, VC1, VC2)
- ThinkPad 130 Machine type 1171 (Models 334, 335, 374, 375)
Notes:
- Your Machine Type and Model (MTM) is located on the bottom of your system, just above the bar code symbol.
- If your specific model is not listed, please enter your MTM on the Personal computing support home page, and refer to the product description. Look for the "Based on" model.
