Installation instructions
To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the "Summary of changes" section.


Install
  1. Start Windows XP and log on with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract the Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver files to the hard drive. When the downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is located in C:\DRIVERS\WLLANBCM directory by the default.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. If the message, "Digital Signature Not Found" appears, click the OK button to continue installing
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Unattended install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

In the step 4. of the Clean Installation procedure type C:\DRIVERS\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE -S in the Open box and click OK.


Uninstalling the driver
  1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
  2. Select Add\Remove Programs.
  3. Select Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter.
  4. Select Change/Remove.
  5. Device Driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  6. If needed, restart the system.
