The BIOS Update CD can boot the computer disregarding the operating systems and update the BIOS (including system program and Embedded Controller program) stored in the ThinkPad computer to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions below.
Supported ThinkPad Systems:
- T60, T60p wide screen models (MT: 6369, 6370, 6371, 6372, 8741, 8742, 8743, 8744)
Supported Operating Systems:
- Windows 7 32-bit
- Windows 7 64-bit (*1)
- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Windows Vista 64-bit (*1)
- Windows XP (Home Edition and Professional)
- Windows 2000
Notes:
*1: Windows Vista 64-bit supports Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors only.
- This package is compiled into an ISO format, which is compatible with CD writing software such as RecordNow!(*), and writable to a CD-R or a CD-RW disc.
- If your RecordNow! CD writing program does not have a "Burn Image" entry, please upgrade RecordNow!
