This patch is intended to investigate the following problem:
Disconnection problems when connected to some USR servers from specific locations with unique phone line qualities.

Also when connecting to IBM Global Network (V.34, X2, V.90) Servers while using The IBM Cordless Computer Connection. After initiating the IBM Global Dialler, the ACP modem would fail to connect at X2 and would not allow the modem to fall back to a V.34 connection, resulting in consecutive disconnections.

This patch is intended for limited distribution to IBM customers. It has received only limited testing before release by IBM, therefore it is suggested that any critical data on your hard drive be backed up before applying it. This patch will become obsolete with the next release of ThinkPad ACP modem code.

Patch Scope
===========
This patch is intended for ThinkPad ACP modem version 2.35a or 2.36 running under Windows 95 or Windows 98, and version 2.35a running under Windows NT 4.0.
